Matthew 18:20 (Amplified Bible)
20For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.(A)
Who Are You Rolling With?
We’ve all heard the sayings that “one bad apple spoils the bunch’ and “flocks of a feather, stick together”. In most cases, scenarios and situations this is true, but sometimes we have the power to change this.
The other night as I writing the blog about my ex’s car, the Holy Spirit stopped me on the part about the flat tire. God showed me that no matter how many tires are on a vehicle, all it takes is one to blow out and the entire ride is demobilized. Man that got me to thinking. So sometimes it’s not the power of numbers, but the influence of just one. If you have a group of 5 married individuals and just 1 of them is cheatsl- - -if the faithful 4 are not careful they COULD all be influenced but the one.
Now the twist in all of this is that if we have the power of God on our side and living in us and through us, we should be able to change the entire atmosphere of any circle we find ourselves in. If we are the odd ball out, the power of God that should be in us, will come in and transform. God is not intimidated by numbers and neither should we be. As Christians its time for us to stop being afraid of the world and what the people in it will think about us. We need to start speaking the word into situations around us, and stop folding under pressure. If something is wrong, call it out and trust God to bring about the deliverance.
We confess how great and mighty our God is and then we turn into squeaky mice when confronted with “cheesy” situations. I recall a conversation with a friend of mine in
Today as we enter into the weekend, lets choose wisely the people we let into our inner courts. And if God has called you to be the light in the midst of darkness, make sure you are shining bright and that you are not letting the darkness dim you.
