What’s Clogging You Up?
John 14:6 (New Living Translation)
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Yesterday morning I received a text message from Lisa, asking to pray because the doctors had found a blood clot in her fathers arm. Prayfully all ended well, but throughout the course of the day we went back and forth waiting on God to show up and do what only He could do. Well, after he was home safe and sound I started to meditate on what a blood clot in the body really does.
Like drinking liquid from a cup with a straw, or blood flowing to our brain and organs through vessels…………Jesus Christ works the same way. He is the connecting factor from our life to the One who sustains our life. And just like a clogged vessel in the body or a food particle suck inside of the straw- - -people, flesh, and circumstances can clog our spiritual pipes- - -leading to an interruption that can be deadly.
Some times we allow people or things into our lives that suck the very life out of us. Some times we allow substances to invade our bodies and clog our connection to the Father. The things we surround ourselves with, either help us get closer to God, or separate us further from Him.
Today as we are blessed to begin another a day, let us let Jehovah Rohi (the God our healer), do a complete work up on us. Let us allow Him to come in and clean out any and everything that is hindering our direct line to Him. Don’t let the dirt of this world, or the residue of your past, clog your spiritual airway any longer. Get whole, get healed, get free.
