Have you ever been to a concert and the artist sang your favorite song, and it seemed as if the rest of the audience faded into thin air and it was just you and them. I have had that, but I have had one better I have had someone I have loved and adored sing to me sweetly, softly in my ear. It was like being high on life and the air just smelled sweet. I was in a dream, in place where time seemed to stand still and all seemed to be right between us in that moment. That melody seemed to replay itself over in my mind for days and weeks to come.
How often do we get close enough to hear God singing the song that He has written just for us? He loves us and wants to serenade us with his promises and caress us with his love. But for many of us we have not had the opportunity to to hear God singing, because our life and our walk does not allow for this to happen. To hear the song of the Lord we have to put ourselves in a place to hear Him. When our life is just that our life, how can we recognize anything that does not have our thumb print or our voice print on it? Secondly, we would have to be able to recognize God's voice and know the sweet melodious tones of His voice. But if we do not really know Him, how would we be able to recognize Him when He begins to speak or even sing to us? God wants us to be able to recall the song that He has written for us in the stillness of our worst nights and the brightness of our best days. He wants us to be able to hold the words firmly in our hearts and He wants that our Spirits to delight in His words towards us and find hope, faith and courage in His Lyrics.

Fall in love with Jesus, not just in mind but in all that you are so that He can sing in your ear an melody written just for you, one that delights your heart and inspires your spirit! God is waiting to shower you with a melody that is all your own, if only you would let Him...
