Words Of Encouragement For Your Day (Friday 10/14/2011) Happy 19th Birthday To My BabyGirl D'Aja...

Thank God For Your Enemies They Will Always Reveal Your Allies

Isaiah 66:13-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
13As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. 14When you see this, your heart shall rejoice; your bones shall flourish like green and tender grass. And the [powerful] hand of the Lord shall be revealed and known to be with His servants, but His indignation [shown] to be against His enemies. 15For behold, the Lord will come in fire, and His chariots will be like the stormy wind, to render His anger with fierceness, and His rebuke with flames of fire.

Earlier this week, my husband and I were in the midst of a situation that was devastating and could have been detrimental if not handled correctly.  The enemy had come as he always does to kill rob and destroy.  He had come into our lives to make us reel with fear, pain and anxiety.  The funny thing is there was one person who I had always known was in my corner, but they revealed themselves as an ally at a whole different level.  My God daughter Tracy, the amazing young woman that she is stepped in with truth and power, set a do not enter, a do not come any further or you are gonna get shot and taken out zone.  By her standing up as our ally we were able to fight through and seek God uninterrupted to focus and be reminded that with God nothing is impossible.  I must say that two other people were stealth my mother and daughter had pushed into prayer, proclaiming that the enemy could not have either of us, and that we would be healed, and walking in the purpose that God intended for us, not just that day but until God cracks the sky or called us home.  Three amazing allies birthed into our lives!
God allowed this experience to remind me of the scripture that says, “As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day Genesis 50:20.”  It also allowed my true allies to be revealed and those that just claim to be about us to be revealed.  Yesterday morning as I prayed and sought the Lord, and then went on to read some devotional gaining strength, Jeremiah 29:11 came up, but the Lord said everyone stands on that and reads that but you must read what is before and after that.  As I read Jeremiah 29:1-20, my mouth had fallen open.  Yes I had read it before, but this time the illumination of the Word of God came because of the situation we were in.  The enemy may come in and we may even become exiled from what we are used to and what we have come to know as the norm, but it is there in that time of isolation that God will reveal to us the truth and the true nature of people and situations, but God will also restore us and cause us to flourish in what we see as captivity.  He will allow us to see our allies God being the biggest ally that we have.  He will allow us to know and see that the allies that we have that are human are there because He placed them there, and we would never see them had we not gotten into a specific type of attack of the enemy. Not that we did not know they were on our side in a way, or that they loved us, but it is trial that will reveal the character of who we all are.  We also find that in certain situations that we would never know God as our Ally until we get into certain situations and come under certain attacks.  We would never know the magnitude of the scripture, “If God before us, who is against us? Romans 8:31.”
During this week, I have learned not to despise the attack, or the people that may bring them, but I have learned to celebrate those who rally and pray, those who God strategically positions to encourage us out of and through our battle; those individuals that will stand with their back against ours and fight this fight with us.  That will toil and draw a line in the sand and say “Not here, not today, not ever.”  I have also learned that “when the enemy comes in, like a flood God does raise up a standard against Him.”   God always wins and being hid in Him we will always win as well.  He is the greatest General on the battle field and He knows who to put in our battalion to fight with us, and he knows what weapons to train us on to always obtain victory!
