Proverbs 23:7 (Amplified Bible)
7For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].
Today's message in the music comes from the Black Eyed Peas song "I Got a Feeling". The chorus, the beat, and the energy all work together to set an atmosphere for a great moment to come. The chorus says: I got a feeling, that tonight’s gonna be a good good night. Today at church we literally watched God heal a young man under attack in his body. It was beyond anything I could ever put in words, but in the midst of the praising, the praying, the shouting, the dancing, and the music declaring war on satan and his camp, our Bishop had us target his mind. He knew that if the young man could conquer the doubt in his mind that he was healed, then his body and spirit would have no choice but to follow suit.
In my own life today marks nineteen days to go until my wedding and the attacks Shane and I have come under would have destroyed a weak minded couple by now. The manipulation and words spoken to us, about us, and towards us could have easily taken us under by now, but we made up in our minds, that no one or nothing would stop what God was doing, but God. Once we got that mentally, the things and people around us didn't change, but the way we responded did. The way we allowed it to have an effect on us ceased.
The problem that normally happens when we allow God to transform our minds, is that the people around us and closest to us don't go through the same transformation process. So instead of being able to celebrate and rejoice with you in your victory they gossip, back stab, down grade, slander, judge, mistreat, abuse you and sometimes throw you to the wind, all because they are not able to see the situation in a new light.
Today as you begin another week, began to speak life, health, wholeness, prosperity, peace and love over yourself and into your life. Begin to feel that today is the beginning of the best days of your life. Begin to know that come hell or high water, you serve a never changing God, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't let the actions, words, or shortcomings of others stop you from dreaming, believing and accomplishing all God has for you. If you can think it, then believe it, God can bring it to pass.
