Today’s Devotional Written By A Young Woman Being Tried In The Fire:

Me, Myself and I
Mark 5:27-28 (New Living Translation)
27 She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28 For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”
Today's message in the music comes from the title of Beyonce's song "Me, Myself, and I". I have found myself in the strangest of situations and circumstances these past few months of my life, and I have had to handle a lot of them alone. Not alone in the sense of not having the help of others, but in the sense that God made it so that there was nothing anybody could do to help.
Yesterday at church, Bishop lead the women in a movement that destroyed years of hurt and baggage. It was a rare moment in my life where I had to "get mines". As I cried out before the Lord at the atlar, I didn't need a prayer partner, a hand holder, a snot wiper, a back patter or a pep coach to cheer me on. God had opened a door, and all He needed from me was to go in.
I'm in no way saying that we don't need the help of others at times, or that we should allow our pride to hinder us from asking or receiving help when we truly need it. What I am saying is that sometimes there comes a test or two that requires us to stand on our own faith, our own prayers, and our own strength. We have to be able to get a prayer through with just us and Christ.
Today as you begin another week, think it not strange when you can't get anyone to answer the phone, or your internet connection gets interrupted. Chances are its God trying to stretch you. It’s the Father trying to get you to depend on Him. We get so dependent upon the faith, prayers and anointing of others, that we slowly start to waste the power God has given to us. Don't be afraid to stand for yourself. Like the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years, push your way through the crowd and touch Heaven for yourself. Don't wait for God to come to you, get up and go get yours!
