Don’t Make Him Leave……..

1 Corinthians 3:17 Amplified Bible (AMP)
17If anyone [a]does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [[b]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [c]do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [[d]the believing church and its individual believers] are

Today’s message in the music comes from Dave Hollister’s song “Can’t Stay”. The chorus says: Girl I gotta go, I can't stay. Said things would change, but things are still the same. As I was listening to this song the other night, the Lord instantly began to speak and say that in the spiritual realm, He was getting ready to sing this song to MILLIONS. In this season of so much hypocrisy and outward disrespect for who He is, God is getting ready to completely remove His grace and mercy off of some.

The crazy thing is that He isn’t referring to non-believers. He is getting ready to deal with summer time Christians; you know, some of the time you saved, and some of the time you not. He is taking away His free passes, hide in the closet safety nets, and on the low street credits. If you are living one way in front of people who you think are heading to heaven, and then living nothing but hell when you think no one is looking, it’s time to make a choice. The Bible says choose you this day who you will serve, because it is impossible to serve two masters.

I am continually amazed how someone can post “God is my everything” on facebook and then less than an hour later, they are going off about something or someone. What kind of message are we sending to non-believers. We are confusing the world, and poorly representing our Heavenly Father. The meaning of the song is simple; the man is fed up with the empty promises of his woman, even though he is still madly in love with her. We are to be the bride of Christ, and God is fed up with our empty promises….”Imma stop cussing when”, “Imma be faithful if”, “Imma praise you more”, “Read my word”, “Go to church”, and the list goes on and on. Jehovah is not a God of lip service, so your faith without ACTIONS is dead. God can not and will not dwell where He is not welcomed, wanted or worshipped. Don’t let your sweet talk, leave you with nothing more than a sweet tooth. We need God more than ever in this hour. This is not the time to patty cake Him, but to stand up and praise Him because your life, destiny and future depends on it!! Make Him want to stay, or He’ll pack up and move on, and that’s a roommate you can never replace.
