Kingdom Crooks…
Deuteronomy 25:13-16 The Message (MSG)
13-16 Don't carry around with you two weights, one heavy and the other light, and don't keep two measures at hand, one large and the other small. Use only one weight, a true and honest weight, and one measure, a true and honest measure, so that you will live a long time on the land that God, your God, is giving you. Dishonest weights and measures are an abomination to God, your God—all this corruption in business deals!
In the past year, I’ve had two business transactions that I choose to do through kingdom companies, and sad to say they both disappointed. These businessmen advertised and marketed all in the name of the Lord. One even declared that the problem with the kingdom is that people in the kingdom take their business else where.
At first I thought it was me, but when another believer used them for a business purpose, she too was taken advantage of.  I am confused at how we think we can just use the Lord’s name in vain, and not have any consequences. When we hurt people in the kingdom it can have lastly affects. Some people leave the church, turn their back on God, or simply stop trusting people all together. If that happens because of the way you have treated a child of God, that goes on your kingdom report card. We should be a creditable representative for Christ at all times.
The Bible says that life and death is in the power of our tongues, so speak truth. If you want to be a hustler do it on your own reputation, and don’t play on people’s faith for your personal gain. We know how to put on the “holy” show everyday, all the while misleading a generation of already lost and desperate souls. The world and the kingdom should never look the same, so if the fruit on your tree, is no different that the fruit of the adversary…………maybe your not on the team you thought you were.  Are you being honest to God and yourself about who you really are, or should you be classified as a kingdom crook?
